As a hands-on Adelaide electrician, Darren Mastin personally oversees every job that carries the Mastin Electrical name, from a single power point to a full rewire. We service homes and businesses across northern and north-eastern Adelaide, bringing old-fashioned values and licensed expertise to every project we take on.

Meet Darren Mastin
Darren Mastin has been working as an electrician for over 43 years. He completed his apprenticeship and holds a Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician, the formal training that underpins every job he takes on today.
Darren holds PGE Electrical Contractor Licence 296682, issued by Consumer and Business Services SA. You can verify this licence at any time through the CBS SA public register. Hiring a licensed electrician, rather than an unlicensed operator, means your work is carried out to Australian safety standards and that you're covered by proper insurance if anything goes wrong.
Over four decades in the trade, Darren has worked across an unusually wide range of projects: seven-storey apartment blocks, commercial fit-outs, prison facilities, major retail outlets, and countless domestic rewires and maintenance jobs. That range isn't just a list of job types — it's proof that Darren can handle whatever complexity a project throws at him, from the straightforward to the highly technical.
Darren started Mastin Electrical because he wanted to do things properly: to show up when he said he would, explain the work in plain language, and stand behind every job with his own name. That personal accountability is still what drives the business today.
